The Busbar will be a specialized slot which can mount a variety of special effect modules, starting with Blast Doors and Shield Regenerators, but expanding to include new items such as Power Converters (+power) or the Shield Capacitor (which charges on damage and can be released to replenish or reinforce shields, or overcharge weapons).

I hope we get Shield Capacitors soon; a bit of a 'missing feature' for our favorite freaky mud-bugs, though they are already pretty powerful.
