Hi, my name is Nasarog. I've been a 4X gamer since forever and a day. I don't even know where to begin, but I will tell you this, I lost many hours to playing Master of Orion 2 and Ascendancy instead of working on my senior thesis. No regrets!
Greetings! I go by Crossbow or CrossbowROoF pretty much everywhere online. I live in the US and am a software QA analyst by trade. I love playing 4X games, regardless of the genre. I've also been reading Outsider for years. Looking forward to seeing what SiS can offer!
I am a carbon based life form from the planet Earth. I have sustained metabolic processes for many orbits now, yet I still recall fondly the first time I played a 4x game. Well, perhaps not so fondly the first time, as I am pretty sure I lost to the computerized opponent on the very first try.
My typical play style is reminiscent of an animal known by the locals as a Turtle, where I will attempt to fortify my territory and attempt to gain industrial or technological superiority before attacking my foes. I look forward to seeing if this strategy will serve me well in Stars in Shadow, and perhaps attempt other more radical strategies.
PsyDev, here! Good to meet you all. I stumbled on a story about this game while browsing the web for great space games. My all-time favorite space game (whether it be action, strategy, whatever) is MOO2. I've played that game to death, brought it back to life, and played it to death again....and again......and ag...well, you get the picture. I've played MANY space games (of all kinds), with "updated" and "modern" graphics, and "new and improved features," but sometimes I honestly feel (like many things in life) that we need to return to basics and really master those before we get too fancy. I feel that it is a very real goal of SiS, and I couldn't have more respect for the endeavor. Can't wait to try it out and contribute.

I looked at a lot of other MOO remakes and even the Free Orion just didn't set well with me.
This one has just something to it that stood out more than the others. I cant give it name right now, but I'm looking forward to seeing what will come of all this.
Hello! I'm over here from Arioch's Ousider community, just hanging around to see what this game is all about. Hope you're all well.

Hello, I'm Iadris
I came here from Sots steam forums, I love 4x game, and Stars in Shadow look promising.
Since I'm french, i'll do my best not to hurt your eyes with my english
Hello all! I definitely am (pre-order) proud to support this project. I'm a fan of moo2 and other space games like starsector, spaz, srw (unrelated). Why am I so obsessed with planet killers? Well I haven't seen them implemented well since moo2. Any other 4x that had them had horribly noisy interfaces that were just too complex to just plane boring for me to play long enough to get to. I just love telling an enemy..."Planet Acquisition Denied."
I am a huge fan of MOO2 - I still have it installed. Nothing I have played since has met that sweet spot for me, although Space Empires IV and V came close. I am also a big fan of the Outsider comic. I am very excited to see two things that I am a fan of meld together in such a tiny indie company. Bring it!
