Social Engeneering typo was fixed

This tech goes nowhere, and does nothing at this point.

Than continued an old game after that announcement (on 11.5) I've found 10 slots on many planets. Did it change since than?

On a fresh game started today, it had no effect at all.

Too many things are changing too fast in the game's code (often not being documented). It might make sense to stop playing for a while or to stop reacting to small bugs.
I'm not suggesting, just thinking "out loud".

Social Engineering should increase the number of improvement slots in planets by 1.

It no longer lists that as an ability, nor does it do it in the latest build, updated today. I had previously unlocked Adaptive Energy Grid which did work as you described. Is it an either or situation ?

They both increase the number of building slots. I'm editing the description text right now.

If it is supposed to add a planetary slot, at present it is broken, it does nothing. Adaptive energy grid and Artificial sentience are both giving the planetary slots they say they will (confirmed, humans, latest build).

All three techs, in the code, increase improvement slots by 1. It's possible that Social Engineering was changed after the last build was pushed, and this change isn't in the dev build. Otherwise, something is broken.

It hasn't worked for a long time, if ever. It might be overlapping with one of the others accidentally?

It appears to work on my setup (when I have all three techs, there are three extra slots), so I'm guessing it was changed after the build was pushed.

I usually play humans, I'm testing a game as orthin to see what happens.

Works for orthin, but not humans. Will recheck humans.
