Not really surprising, same driver, same error. Black boxes occour.
Thats all from my hardware archive

Hrm. I'm unable to replicate the error using my Radeon HD 7000, using driver version 14.501.1003.0 (which was released in 2014). When you installed SiS, it looks like your machine was also setup with driver version 14.501.1003.0. Have you updated your graphics driver since installing SiS?

Ok! After updating to the lastest AMD driver, I can indeed replicate the glitch. For me, at least, I seem to need to load the game and play tactical battles involving fighters at least twice -- but, I have started to get the black boxes. (Not sure if it's the driver update that did it, or if I just needed to be more persistent about sending out fighter strikes ;) )

Interesting. I believe I have figured this bug out, and now the main thing I wonder is why that fighter attack effect ever worked in the first place  It should fixed now (r15175 now marked 'stable'). Let me know if you encounter any other new graphics glitches. And thanks again for your help with this hardware testing.

Works like a charm :D

While testing in the tactical map:
- When I select a ship, the area where I can move it, is highlighted. When I keep the selection and click "next turn", the ship is still selected (and can do stuff) but the moveable area is not highlighted again. (But the transparent ship is shown to indicate where it could go)

- not a bug, just aesthetics: the grid option shows the grid only in high zoom factors. At a zoom level where you get some overview, most gridlines are removed.

I got a report earlier today of an issue on an Intel HD machine where the "AI Turns" overlay was causing the window to turn black -- though, curiously, the screen came back if one alt-tabbed in and out of the game.

I have a theory about what might have been causing this -- and if I'm right, the issue should be fixed as of r15377 (currently on 'stable'). Please let me know if you notice the 'black screen' issue in the latest builds.
