Ashdar destroyers get armor thickness 10- twice what destroyers normally get- while Ashdar light cruisers get an armor thickness of 5, which is both lighter than other light cruisers and thinner armor for a larger hull. I mean, hypothetically this could be intentional, but it seems far more likely to me that the armor thickness of these starting Ashdar hulls was accidentally transposed.

Trying the newer test builds on GOG. Currently 53210 from this week.

"Color planets by habitability" option doesn't seem to be working properly. Or at least like it used to.

I'm getting bombed with no indication there's even an enemy fleet at a planet.

I guess I should revert to Stable even though it has bugs itself. :(

Can you upload the save where this is happening? (If you're on the dev GoG build, the "upload game logs" button in options should be working again).

Alas, I didn't keep playing more than a couple turns and the autosaves are already overwritten. I only have a screenshot (https://imgur.com/a/GAF0iFa). It happened a few turns later too in Markab -- invisible Tinker invasion fleet.

I'll keep in mind the in-game bug upload should work now. I know it didn't in the past when I'd get the "lots of allies" achievement error window.

EDIT: Looking over the screenshot -- maybe it's a bug with the new sensor display thing? I only see sensor circles around my scouts and not my planets or other ships.

Yeah, I bet it's related to the new sensor thing. I have an attempted fix up (53220). Should be live on gog "in_development".

Started a new one and I'll let you know if I encounter that again. "The planets color by habitability" option is still broken, though. It's really hard to choose where to expand and colonize without that.

"Habitably Colors" should be in the new starmap overlay dropdown menu now.

53226: Completed a game successfully. The invisible fleet bug never appeared even when invaded. Seems fixed.
53238: Still no habitability colors. Checkbox in setting screen, not the new in-game visibility button. Setting is non-functional.

I do appreciate your work you've been doing!

That's my bad. I hit the wrong buttons when uploading last night's patch to GoG -- the version that *claimed* to be 53238 was actually a somewhat earlier build. It should be fixed now (you may need to restart galaxy to get the correct patch).

Ayup! I can once again see where I have planets to colonize and where to focus (and most importantly, have a reminder I missed one!)
