Race ideas

I put my Elerians here as template race but with some minor modification. like: name, specialisation, humanoids, shape etc.

Any wished races from the same genre like (distant words, star drive 2, moo1-2, space empires, galciv1-2) or new ones?

What races do you think fit into this game?

I know this is way too late, but i think a good race would be similar to the Borg, where you have technology unique to this race where you can assimulate a population into your own....that would be awesome.
