I tried only adding the -jem lines into the code and was getting strange errors about hammers and food... I tried adding it 2 different ways and didn't quite get it to work.

This too is my favorite (and I think only?) mod I play with. When I start min/maxing population using different species, I *love* this and couldn't imagine going back to not having this tool. It's, for me, pure quality of life. THANK YOU!

Do you recall what unit was attacked, and was the error on firing or on impact?
Was the range at less then 8? Closer?
I have used them heavily, and have not seen that issue come up, so need to know how to replicate it.

Thanks! After reading your post I started going through the ship drawer folder and reading the various LUA... totally get it. I was hoping to bootstrap an existing design and simply let another race "borrow" the template, but doesn't look that simple (to your point).
