Ah, well, too bad.
You should probably correct the Facebook page, so people don't accuse you of false advertising. (Having seen the way some people jump on the slightest thing they think they were promised in a game design but didn't get, I don't want you all to pick up any bad feeling or word of ...

Re: Stars in Shadow signs with Iceberg Interactive
I saw some interesting things in the features listed on the Facebook page. Like a star system having up to 10 planets.
I like that, in particular, very much. It makes the universe feel more "real" to have systems with as many planets as our own.

Re: Eager to Hear About Diplomacy Implementation
This looks outstanding! And the philosophy you describe regarding how the diplomacy system should work seems right on target to me.
Implementation of this system is all I'm waiting for before I start playing SIS on a regular basis. (Though I think I'm going to play a test game over the next couple ...

Re: Intel HD Graphics Crashes
I tried out running the 64-bit .exe with the Intel adapter, after loading it using the Nvidia card, and it loaded fine with the adapter under those circumstances. So it appears you were right -- once it runs one time with the Nvidia card, that solves whatever the problem is with Intel adapter. This ...

Re: Intel HD Graphics Crashes
The crash when using the adapter happens almost as soon as the game starts loading. I've never actually made it into the game when using the adapter.
Ok. In a way, that's good news. Crashes during program load are very rare, and there are plenty of beta testers with Intel Adapters who have never ...

Re: Intel HD Graphics Crashes
The game invariably crashes while loading either 32-bit or 64-bit if it tries to use the Intel adapter. It runs with no crashes so far if I use the Nvidia card in the laptop. (I haven't tried the 32-bit version in conjunction with the Nvidia card.)

Re: FAQ: Planned Features
Currently fighters return to the carrier after every attack. I do think it's a good idea to allow them to attack more than once per sortie.
Please do this. At the moment, strike-craft feel simply like reusable, low damage missiles. It would be best to have them either stay out and only return to ...

Re: So, um, what's the status of this game?
For me, Stars In Shadow (even in its current unfinished state) is better than almost all of these. Its game systems are relatively simple without being simplistic, which means that learning to play it doesn't amount to feeling like I'm working a second job. The combat takes me back to MOO1 & MOO2 ...

Re: So, um, what's the status of this game?
Thanks for giving us a look! I'm sorry to hear that some folks are disappointed in new-MOO's early access; I hope you'll keep in mind that we are also still a little rough around the edges and still missing important features (notably diplomacy).
Actually, I've been following SIS for several ...

Re: So, um, what's the status of this game?
First time poster here.
Now that MOO 4 is out, I bought into early access and played it a bit this weekend. That was what finally convinced me to take the plunge on SIS.
I don't think you have much to worry about from MOO.
SIS has the two things that people are complaining about as lacking in MOO ...
