Honestly, any basic text editor should do the trick—but if you want something a bit more comfortable, a lightweight code editor like Visual Studio Code is a great choice. It’ll recognize the Lua-style code and highlight things like comments, which makes it easier to read and edit.

Well, some progress—I got the game to start today, even though the crash dialog still lingers in the background. But when I try to load my save, it crashes again with the same error… so now I’ve got two of those lovely dialogs. 😅
Pretty sure the save’s messed up too.
