Re: Report - Current Bugs and Issues
I don't think I can reproduce the bug because the game just freezed up
Can you gather and attach this info to your post, please?
- a save file of the game where the bug occurred
- the entire contents of your Stars in Shadow/logs directory
This may also have something to do with you having an AMD ...

Re: My five cents for early impressions
Most newer UI elements (like the encounter dialog ) have multiple transparent background layers that keep the feel of transparency but reduce the impact of elements in the background on the readability of text and graphics in the foreground.

Re: Dedicated topic for design discussions and/or feature suggestions?
The one thread of just my own finds is already 4 pages long, and I have no plans to slow down.
You keep up good work, mharmless ! No, really - it's very invigorating to have such motivated and thorough people like you on board - you are an example for all us testers.

Re: Report - Current Bugs and Issues
Maybe an entire subforum for bugs? I could do one post per bug without making those huge digest posts that way. My last digest post was what, six or seven bugs? Easier to follow each bug line. Lock the threads when solution is implemented and confirmed in testing?

My five cents for early impressions
In order to avoid a tl;dr effect, I'll try to be as concise and up to the point as possible ;)

Dedicated topic for design discussions and/or feature suggestions?
I can see that beta-testers are starting their own threads with early impressions and suggestions. Therefore I am a bit undecided here - should I do the same and and discuss my ideas with the devs in this thread mostly, or should I instead post my impression in other tester's thread instead? Re: Introduce yourself :)
Hello guys!
Just like many others here, I am also a veteran gamer - starting my first forays into 4X domain circa 1993, when I've got my first i486-based PC, with DOS 5.22 and my all time favorite Master of Magic and X-COM games. Quite soon this list got extended with Master of Orion 1 and 2 ...
