54 seconds to create and get into first universe picture, 400 mb used in game, very stable on my turn plus AI's turns with little difference in cpu or memory use per turn

The Phidi Mercenary Exchange just went live. Non-Phidi factions get access to the exchange if they are allied with the Phidi.

I was able to hire mercenaries (two Dread Stars 1500 each - quite cheap) through the dialog with Marauders. BTW, how is their technology level determined?

ah well my bad, seems i maybe building them where there's not enough to fill it, so i need to refill elsewhere before embarking, my mistake, but tbh didn't know i could even do that either, maybe a warning message needed as it's a empty ship

Ideally the colony ship should not be buildable if there is no eligible population, so this probably needs to be changed even if it's not technically a bug.

also when i send them to a planet where they is more population, i don't also seem able to load any more, as there's an option to embark, but as there's nothing to drop off, there's doesn't seem to be one that says load etc, or not that i can find, the embark button just says 0 and shows a picture of the race to drop off but as there's nothing in it, will try and see if i can find a different way of loading them back on, as atm all i do with empty ones is destroy and cancel the next repeat builds on the same planet, must admit an hour test on this can leave me with a 3 or 4 hour game later on as i look at the time

yes it's one of those great ones you loose track of time in, the merc guild works well, just i have better ships than what they offer so as yet only tested it, but not really gone to town and used it much, as yet testing going very well and very stable on the massive map, with very little MM (micro management needed) new button works a treat

Click embark and then click on the planet you want to load population from.

thanks, while i thought i'd tried that, i maybe wrong, as it said 0 to embark, and didn't seems to load any, but thanks anyway will try it again now
