New Version crashes on creating a game
Newest version doesn't even get to initial start screen.

Oh no! This is what I get for trying to post patches *quickly*. I'm uploading a fix for the new bug as we speak. It will be r17825.

Ah. Apparently, in the build you have, loading a game works. And loading a game, then starting a new game works. But starting up SiS.exe, then immediately starting a new game breaks (though only if the game you're starting includes a 'human' faction.). That's bad. I think it should be fixed as of r17831 (which is now live on 'stable'). Thanks again for the debugging help.

Still broken, see game 1423. Was able to start it, but deploying fleet crashed it.

Ok, that's a *different* category of bugs, one that apparently has to do with some changes I was making to the graphics assets for the galactic council. That one should be fixed as of the latest 'stable' patch. (Which, confusingly, is still marked r17831.)

Game 1430 , newest version crashes as I deploy my fleet in turn 1.

It looks like something is going a little wrong with the patch system here. Updating to r17835 may fix it?

Games 1432 and 1433, latest build, crash as soon as I try and deploy my fleet.

I was worried that might happen. Looks like there defiantly is an issue with the updater's handling of certain UI art assets. I'll need to be sure to be more careful about this in future. (Both 'dev' and 'stable' ought to be working again, btw.)
