Getting this late game bug (type) every game no matter which race I start since the 2nd or 3rd most recent updates on the indev branch on Steam. Have also updated with latest patch. Only saw one similar post several years ago but couldn't find any solution... help? I also have the rebalancing mod installed using the ArieyssaRebalance one posted in the forum.

Code: Select all

Lua state\Galaxy\pop_growth.lua:895: growth_rate is missing required field: r -> human_harmonized
Lua state\Galaxy\pop_growth.lua:895:growth_rates:

              Lua state\GUI\~GalaxyMap\@NextTurn.lua:174:
               Lua state\@video_card.lua:121:wait_screen
SCOPE keys: _ELEMENT_ENV | FLAG keys: ending_year, inside_end_year_processing
P.S. replace "human_harmonized" with "XX_harmonized" since it changes from game to game.

I'm on the "live" build on GOG. I'm on my 3rd playthrough of the game.

I'm (Yoral) orbiting an enemy Tinker planet with a minor faction fleet (marauders). I am "at peace" with the marauders, and at war with the Tinkers. The marauders are at war with the Tinkers. I have a prompt option to intervene on the fight between the marauders and the tinkers. The tinker planet is undefended. Accepting an option to intervene lets me attack and destroy the marauders. In fact, the "Autocombat" button also does the same thing (my ships attack the marauders). This action does NOT put me at war with the marauders, nor does it cause any kind of Faction relationship penalty. That doesn't feel right.

Annexing the Tinkers causes their entire population to become disconnected even thought I now control their homeworld. This significantly reduces their population's effectiveness.

In the GoG galaxy app, it's possible to opt into different builds of the game by going to Manage Installation -> Configure -> Beta channels. If you switch your beta channel to "in_development" you'll get placed on the same version of the game most "testers" are using. Critically, right now, that build includes some features for the in-game "Options->upload game logs" feature.

If you still have the save where this happened, switching to "in development", then uploading the save so I can take a look at it would be useful.

These kinds of three-way battles are something that I aspire to have SiS handle reasonably well, but they come up so rarely (usually less than once per playthrough) that I haven't made fixing some of the rough edges a priority. Having a compelling example where it's more clear what *should* have happened, vs. what *did* happen would be useful.

Hello Sven! I've switched to the in_development build on GOG galaxy. Thanks for that.

I have uploaded game logs "game_10444" for the 3 way battle I mentioned earlier.
