"Stellar Surge" slows down game

I would recomend doing the stellar surge graphic a bit faster. If you have several Stellar Surge ships in the fleet (especially Orthins) the animation and sound of the Stellar surge beams severely slows down combat. Ok, it looks and sounds cool, but for the sake of combat it should be shortened.

I do agree with this. Stellar surge does slow down combat considerably especially when you have several of them and compared to other weapons. I do understand that the weapon has a charge time for the impact.

Or at least when faster combat animation option is selected it should be shortened (considering the wait time before the actual animation part of the overall combat animation sequence)

Same goes for Torpedoes in my opinion: even if above is selected, the launch and to some extent also traveling speed of torps is too slow which is very noticeable when multiple torpedo heavy ships are firing on both sides
