Ha! I appear to finally have found a replication pattern for this one. Many thanks to all of you who have persisted in uploading reports.

Shouldn't be long now....

edited: patch posted to 'stable'. let me know if anyone sees this in builds >= r12031.

In game_52, the Garden Terraforming project has just completed at Gremal, but the planet looks the same, the populations are shown as stable, and there weren't any slots added for infrastructure. The Garden Terraforming at Rasalgethi, however, did increase the population and infrastructure caps.

And, in game_53, if you rewind back and fight at Philosir, you will find an interesting bug with carriers:

- Pick a carrier
- Click on the Gunboats item in the weapon menu a couple of times to launch just one
- Send it off to attack one of the opponents
- Notice that you now have only two Gunboats left, although just one has flown and you started with four
- Click on the Gunboats again to launch just the one and send it on its mission
- Notice that, although there are only two Gunboats that have launched and there are four on the Carrier, you have none left to send on missions. (missions of love, of course)(very close, very warm love)

Also, Interceptors are listed as being "fast attack craft" but Gunboats actually have longer range, despite being described as
"significantly slower than most fighters."

Are all the weapons on the Doom Star supposed to point up?

Hrm... I thought I'd fixed this. There may be something odd going in that game. Would you upload it?

The game blackscreens and becomes non-responsive when I attempt to launch interceptors from a Phidi carrier:

I'm able to reproduce this reliably by loading game_60 and engaging the Death's Head fleet. The Phidi politely request remuneration for this most unfortunate occurrence, and would like it noted that the carriers are, in fact, still under warranty.

Just pushed a patch -- should be fixed on 'stable' (r12059).

hrm. yes. looks like i missed something last time i tried to patch this. should be working properly now (r12061).

game_62, I just had combat at Sargas where I hit retreat with both my ships after a couple of rounds of combat, both of them got captured in the subsequent turn, both of them zoomed off, one now purple and one now orange. The next turn, there are, indeed a purple and orange Orthin ship, but I'd say they shouldn't have zoomed off after they were captured.

EDIT: Also, the marauders attacked me despite my having paid them off, although I did select Intervene to get into the combat. Still, I'd think they'd give me a shot at attacking the purple first.

I agree -- that's a bug. Not a hard one to fix, either. Patch should be posted in a few minutes...

I'm not confident Ravin would be so generous :) Those are his prey, in his hunting grounds :)

As per the current game rules, if you'd been established in the system for a turn, prior to the Haduir ariving, you would have been able to try solo-ing them. But, Ravin still would have had the option to jump into the battle. (And probably would have -- because, well, you paid him off, but, the Ashdar didn't :)

game_63: I had colonized Acrux I several turns ago. I dropped a colony on Acrux III, and it has two Factories and Acrux I has none, although rewinding back, it hadn't finished its first Factory yet. Still I wonder if Acrux III didn't steal the Factories in some strange fashion.

Looks like Acrux III was once the home of a minor faction -- probably one that was wiped out earlier in the game. Thus, those are "relic" factories. In future, you should get notifications explaining what's going on when there are planet-specific perks like that to discover. But, it's not really a bug, per-say. Just a half-finished feature.
