Race Selection Screen Bug?

So in the new images added to the media gallery the race selection screen for the Ashdar Colonials shows an escort carrier and ace fighters but in the game itself I just see two blank spaces next to all the races. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but the images are definitely missing.

Also, on a somewhat related note, are those spaces for displaying unique race techs?

Not a bug, just items missing in the current beta build. Most of the race-specific items are not fully implemented in this build.

Those slots are for displaying race-specific units, technologies, or abilities.

Cool. Thanks for the info! I was just a little confused to see the images in the media gallery but not see them on the race selection screen in the game.
