Does it handle when a ship has several different transported units? You can have more than one shuttle hangar.

yes and no, hehs

yes ... several different units
no ... several same units

EDIT: ups, left some debugging strings there showing during game play, please re-download

This looks very cool, it seems to fulfill an expanded feature request I posted to the feature suggestion forum. One question: does this mod include the improvements made to the population panel by harpy eagle? If not, are the two mods compatible?

How does one open a .7z file? I don't seem to have an application to unpack it with, do I have to download something?

I got this working, but the displayed population icons on my cargo ships are very small and hard to see, much smaller than the ones in the example pics above. It's particularly problematic as the only loadable populations I have in my current game are Yoral and Teros, both primarily white with orange accents, which are placed against a cargo module on my Yoral transports that is also white with orange accents.

Edit: I loaded some hovertanks and have the much same issue, though the tanks are a bit larger and easier to see, even though the color scheme is basically grey and white against grey and white. They extend more beyond the edge of the cargo modules than the population units do (the only clearly visible part of the population icons are the feet).

sorry for 7-zip, didn't realize it can be an issue

yes, this mod contains population report mod, I may separate them in the future

there may be an issue with scaling, I mean there is, I would like to rewrite the part that draws race icons, but I only had about 15 minutes to work on this mod so far ... can you upload some pictures, or even save game file, what is your resolution ?

If you're still interested, I run my monitor at its native resolution of 1920 x 1080. And yes, your pictures look very much like what I am seeing.

a bit different approach, as you mentioned renaming ships, it is part of a tool-tip when mouse-over ... no scaling or visibility issues

The icons looked really cool. Until you realize Arioch deliberately developed his art for ships and population icons to have matching color schemes for both, so when an empire's transports are loaded with the base empire population the population icons blend right in. It doesn't help that Yoral and Teros are the two physically smallest statured main races, with smaller icons to match, and those were by sheer bad luck the first two I happened to test your mod with.

Edit: Looking at your phidi upload I see more detail than I am used to. I think you are running the game at a higher graphics quality than I normally bother with.

Edit2: Yeah, I had "simplified graphics" turned on. I tried turning it off but it doesn't make much difference to the icon visibility.

Tested your download and the text rollover seems to work fine. I suspect some people will prefer the icons so you might try to keep both options if you get around to integrating this stuff. And you deserve a big thank you for all your work.

Very useful, thank you, Siyoa! The icons indeed could be a bit larger, but bundling with a must-have PopReport is quite convenient.
