New Mods

As I like this game a lot, I plan to create some mods to Improve it.

I am relatively new to modding, but very experienced in programming.

One of the mods I am considering is the limited Rush Buy mechanic, where it gets more expensive the less labor you have in your empire.

This would stop you from building only markets instead of markets and factories.

Now my question is twofold.

1) Is this a good idea, or is there something I have overlooked?

2) Are there other potential mods anybody would like done?

Hello! 2) There are many interesting proposals in Suggestions thread http://stars-in-shadow.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29. To warm up, something simple could be tried, like reporting what exactly has arrived to colony by civilian transport instead of generic "Civilian transport has arrived".
