Confusion About Retreating

Why did you all take away the Auto retreat for the Transports and colony ships. or is retreating bugged now cause usually when I retreat from Pirates they leave before the missles hit and now the missles move first on the second term even though my ship is to retreat. Was this an intentional change and if so why? The other way was better in my personal opinion

Transports and Colony Ships now take two turns to retreat instead of one. This is to make them more vulnerable, and to discourage the player from using them as scouts. It's now very likely that unescorted Transports and Colony Ships will be destroyed if they encounter pirates, which is the intent.

As we revamp the tactical UI, I will try to add some kind of status element that makes it more clear when ships are in the midst of retreating, and the Retreat function itself probably needs a confirmation dialog that explains the costs of retreating (number of turns, which system the ship will retreat to).
