Can we expect an update to the race references (logo, name and diplo message links) so that various factions of the same race can be better differentiated between on the map?

e.g.: Terros 2 declared war on Yoral 3 - Link to races or use unique logos

Since the change is more of a focus on diplomacy behavior I can understand that you do not plan to change the UI in this regard but would help immensely with large maps and conducting diplomacy with multiple races of the same type once the diplomacy actions lure in more players into the mechanic

In general I think we need some quality of life improvements around multiple factions; right now it's definitely weird to have two or more of a given faction with the same name, same logo, same leader name, etc, etc. They definitely need some way to differentiate them better.

I would like to recomend something along the Gal Civ lines. A couple of new rare resources that gives bonus (for example special crystal that can be added to a ship to give the ship +5% beam damage) that also is a tradeable resource. Would be great for the Phidi as traders to "monopolize" the market for these special resources. The special resources have maybe 3% chance to appear on a planet.

This would also make a great diplomatic thing. Do you want to make war just to get another planet with the one race that you can trade the special resource with?

Some diplomacy changes could negate of of the mid and endgame snowballing effect

There are already nice moral penalties available for various pop types based on their traits based on player empire state (e.g.: food), war actions (e.g.: bombarding) and diplomacy (e.g.: our two races are at war)

If these penalties could be increased (such as in case of starvation) a bit or new logical ones introduced (e.g: You have support our enemies) it could make mid and late game thus more interesting as the bigger and more varried the population of an empire the more prone it is to unrest

Introducing a new menu (As discussed in another thread) of pop tpyes count and maybe even moral status would help establish this as a main mechanin
