Yes the diplomacy is quite advanced now - far outclasses most 4x counterparts
I just hope the micro can be kept in check and not divert too much from the core of the game: like in planetary building mechanic: has a few fleshed out systems but not overly distracting

Hope the diplomacy update will be finished soon and a new expansion can be rolled out
