Any chance for an option to prevetn mayor factiosn starting from the edge of the map? Might only make sense for elipse and box galaxy format but there it should help the AI to expand more competitively, prevent players from turtling (if they dont like that sort of play) and balance out the structure...

I don't know if this is a bug or working as intended, but any ship with shuttles has a built in boarding pod functionality. Would it be possible to have tow factions be placed in the center of the map or have it as a map generation option? Dont know what NFT is but it seems like a secondary market which are usually speculative and tend to be scams
