im finding with swarm tactics and many smaller ships with focused weapons I am spending a lot of time getting them to all face the same way. now with a band select fleet I can move them or get them all to point in the same direction, however it would be nice if I could point them all at one spot on...

Since it sounds like we're going to be getting more things for transports to haul around in the form of mined resources and food I suppose its possible we'll see commerce raiding in the game. I don't know if we would actually start seeing the transports moving around on the map as potential targets...

Yeah, though right now, 2/3rds of the ships in the game are missing any engine glow effects -- I should probably fix that first :oops:

So does the lore work as if every system has an abandoned stargate in it so that once the Haduir colonize it they can make use of the gate once they've researched the tech? I kind of figured after I researched the tech I'd have to actually build stargates to use them. The behavior in game right now...

I also had the game devour all my memory. When it finally ran out after about 45min of play, it was using 1.7 gigs of memory according to the task manager. I'd happily upload crash.dmp, except that it too is about 1.7 gigs in size - I unfortunately lack the time as of this post to upload the monstr...

Is it an intended feature to have planet defenses rebuild that fast? No -- it's pure programmer laziness. Upon first execution of the game .exe, I was awarded with a large crash.dmp file, found here . The only thing I can think of that has changed since the last time I opened the game up is that I've upgraded to Windows 10. Not sure what to do at this point. It's not so much the in battle retreating as it is the galaxy map retreating. Instead of the battle screen option popping up fleets will redirect just before reaching the system. As in the turn they should arrive all enemy fleets will bail and go someware else. Ah, yes, that's a separate issue, but...
