Here is an a screen where I tried to break the border algorithm: - 130 Stars - Sparse stars (to see what happens when drawn close to each other) - 12 AI empires (to see the colors) There is an obvious hit to performance though not a considerable one, here other findings marked red on the screenshot:...

Interceptor behavior has changed. Before if the flight group's target was destroyed, the group would select a new target. Now the group returns to the carrier. Bombers and Strike fighters still require targets if the previous one is destroyed. Seems logical as this way they can be assigned against ...

Its not really an issue, just noticed something in how HSA nodes are handled during the drawing of the borders It seems that ownership of the HSA nodes is not taken into consideration when evaluating borders - again not necessarily an issue but depends rater on which direction the HSA-s are going to...

Merc vessels hired by a company that the player declares war on do not switch sides or get dismissed
They do not turn against the player or quit when attacking the "mother" faction with their ships
The Merc company is available after the declaration of war to hire ships from

Is rebellion for AI planets disabled? If not then there is a bug that prevents it from happening. This mechanic would be perfect for choking large empires as food production hubs could be blockaded for escalating moral penalty. The player would of course need to see the food production stats of enem...

No worries - I also like the current borders as is Just looking at the current game, expansion got a really cool feeling of progression and various remote systems are also easily recognizable :) Looking at this map without the new feature would take quite a lot of processing time to see what is goin...

Would it make sense to have the galaxy view in the Stargate to rotate?
