I'm glad the odd balance isn't just me. :) I did notice the rest of the combat fleet starting to show as I nibbled away at the edge of their empire. But they are still fielding around 30+ transports within my visual range. I think the ~10 troop transport cap would be a good thing.

I just saw that on the detailed ship status pane and it works as advertised. I feel silly now as that is the first time I've tried it from that part of the game. :) That said, I agree that empty colony ships might be a tad confusing. I frankly hadn't tried disembarking from the details pane, just us...

Maybe add code where you can use Colony Ships to add to planetary population instead of just being able to create new colonies. Useful if you capture colony ships of a different race that are still running around late in the game and you want to add to an existing biosphere. Right now it seems they ...

Just a question. The AI seems to be focusing way too much on building troop transports. Not that free transports are minded, as they are easy to capture and that means I don't have to sacrifice any production cycles making my own, but building like 40 of the things and just a pair of Heavy Cruisers ...

Minor point and purely cosmetic in nature. Missiles/Torpedoes targeting planet defenses still report they are in an anti-shipping role rather than bombardment or something similar when you select them and check their details on the battle screen.

I have to say, the resource system is actually having me build Star Bases. Before there wasn't any pressing reason except for experimentation. Now with the lesser metal expense, many times its worth the trade off of the higher build costs.

So you could manually queue up four destroyers and instead of producing one at a time they would hold final production until the job completes? Something like sending in a build order for x amount of ships? Then maybe a button to have it "finish" once the total job is complete rather than ...

I do find this is true for the Cruiser and other smaller vessels. Although I just found out yesterday that I can use my Haidur Battlecruisers to conduct boarding actions (at least against Orthin Destroyers) even without a boarding pod. When double clicking on a specific ship type, it seem to only grab the ships in the current screen, even if I have others of the same type above or below the visible area. I know I should just zoom the tactical window out as a workaround, but sometimes that's a bit hard to do when I'm on a laptop. (...

I think it was all of the dedicated Military transports. At least the Ashdar Imperials also are down to one tank.

Had a video crash with a rendering error. Likely caused by having a bunch of video intensive chrome tabs open in the background. Sending crash dump for review.

Confirmed the "Beam of Death to All" is reproducible. I can upload another game file, but something screwy with the Orthin Siege weaponry. Wouldn't be an issue facing larger ships as it properly marks as expended if you don't kill a ship.
