The official announcement is imminent (should be within the next few days), after which we can talk about the features.

Is it coming at Gamescom?

eXpansion/DLC Content

Hey Jim and Sven,

Just curious to know when testers will start getting access to the new content coming. Perhaps I misread it, but it sounded as if it'd be soon.

Hope you're both well!

Re: Research Tree ETA?

We're discussing plans for our first DLC with the publisher. We'll let you know details when they are available. Yaaay, go for it! Iceberg actually seems to have published Endless Space and Legend... Seeing that the DEV company has switched publisher for ES2, maybe they have a beef to settle, and w...

Re: Endless Space 2

No meaningful differences between major factions? Are you...serious? I don't even know what to say regarding that feedback. If ES2 does ANYTHING, it's that it allows for rather significant gameplay differences between play throughs. The rest of your feedback could easily be ignored if you actually f...

Re: Research Tree ETA?

This is just my opinion, but if the game would be multiplayer it will bring much more income and become a lot more popular than it is now. Until then I personally can't recommend this game to anyone due to the fact that it gets very boring after a couple days of play. In fact it has the potential t...

Re: Research Tree ETA?

We've released a patch every two weeks since release. The tech tree should be in the next patch, which will probably be ready at the end of this month. Sales are quite good, but the money goes to pay for the original development, including the advance we received from the publisher; until we reach ...

Research Tree ETA?

It's exciting to see it's in the works.

I love the roadmap, but updates seem to be coming in slower than the previous pace. Is that a result of sales?

Re: Tech Tree View for Research Screen

This is great!! Well done!

I hope SiS sold well enough to fund further development for a long time. It's turned out to be a fantastic game and is only getting better!

Please Consider Managing Expansion

Great game, but I can't help but feel that the planet rush is a game mechanic of yesteryear. There's VERY LITTLE holding me back from settling EVERYTHING and I think it leads to two of SiS' biggest issues: micromanagement of planets and the snowballing issue. At any level, colonization of other plan...
