Just calling out for super fast implementation of a wished feature.
The disable weapons thing removes so much frustration with boarding civilian ships and also makes it far easier to prioritize targets! Its great.

My idea was a tad more insane. Playing civ6 yesterday, settled my city one tile off, and reached for the undo button. This happened uncountable times and I was frustrated to no end. I agree with everything. In my one game imperials attacked yoral but lost their shuttles in the battle. So they just sat around the planet more shuttles arrived, several turns later entire Yoral state balkanized even though they had a sizeable fleet left.

The last 2 major patches have made it fun for me, Paradox has a weird way of developing games where they majorly change or add new gameplay systems each patch even years after release. In a weird way it even adds to the replay value.

I would like to see a way to tell my ships to stop firing at moving ships during enemy turn, would make capturing civilian ships easier (can't often get to them before they explode).

Not sure if bug or intended: If you bolt science stations to Phidi trade ships and then send em to trade pool they stop producing science.

If having less battles is the design choice then that part of my critique is null. The system is not that deep so I guess more battles would become repetitive pretty fast.

Just seems like double the work for something that could be resolved with just ships, but some cheap and/or maybe deployable defenses would be really cool. Right now orbitals are: weak, only found orbiting factory planets (and they take 1 shipyard slot so I never bother) and planetary defense slots ...

Just having another setting above hard is fine too, would make the game more challenging before the AI and balance gets all sorted out. I'm not sure what you mean by "garrison ships" in this context. Do you mean the AI should allocate more ships to system defense? Won't this make the decis...
