What I am suggesting is that for the 5 reactor types there is a different type of effect when a reactor goes critical or a ship self distruct happens. for example: Fission: Explosion but hot core is left behind on the battlefield, core acts as a hazard, ship flying near it takes damage, ship flying ...

Imperial Ashadar battlecruiser, theres some issue with the new missile launcher graphic, first slot works, 2 through 4 heavy slots makes a launcher appere only on the far right mount.

It looks nice though. they do not appere on the middle hardpoints.

sword of the stars had a way with that, they separated population into two catagories, civilian and citizens. one did the work and one payed the taxes.

I would say missile mods yes, changing missiles or pd no. Missiles are one of the few things that have no mods and except for damage are not truly upgradable or adaptable. There is only one shield piercing weapon though, coilguns. And yes it is viable but you cant upgrade past that when it comes to ship design. even with max hull as soon as the enemy starts getting into ion cannons (which really should have additional armor damage as a perk) there at a tech level wher...

I would say avoid destroyers. Get a station up and build light cruisers, yes they cost more but they use less metal over there construction than destoyers. If your metal starved build light cruisers

For human at least if you drag weapons onto the battleship picture they don't lock on, but they do lock on to locations if the ship was strait up and down not on a 45 degree angle.

Can we get one more weapons pass before we hit diplomacy? Would like to see real AA missiles instead of the white beam, maybe a different effect for the railguns, like a single projectile?

Combat is faster, however leaving it is now supper buggy, I think I have sent 4-8 bug reports in, all shades of weird.

The ai is not stronger, the ai is cheating. I have run into numerous worlds that should be filled with dead bodies but are still full to the brim. I felled the entire gremak empire and the majority of there worlds were factories, worlds that would be better for food production. The ai is not finishe...

it looks like it might be all weapons, new logs, using railguns is also lagging the game.
