game_249 I had a crash in combat at Hamal, on the turn after this savefile, when I asked my first destroyer to launch it's second set of missiles. I was able to reproduce the crash. It seems like the best early game strategy for the Orthin is to focus exclusively on Factories in the first few colonies to address their lack of production, although I did get lucky that I was close to Gienah so that I could take over Ashdar Prime early in the game. The game isn't remembering that I've turned fullscreen off. Every time I start it, I'm fullscreen, despite having deselected it the last time I was playing.

I've also seen people use a translator and put the original text at the bottom so that others who can read the original can see it without the errors a software translator will introduce.

What seems to be happening is that the fleet that attacked you was sitting still in a neighboring system the turn before. The opponent decided to attack. The fleet starts moving, but is close enough that it arrives the next turn.

It seems that my single scout can survive a pair of the human pirate ships, but the Gremak marauders have more missiles so I can't retreat fast enough from them.

Missiles launching for a shorter distance still don't let a scout survive 2 pirates long enough to retreat, even if the scout has pd lasers.

I'm a tiny bit too far away from the next nearest colony/invasion targets at Sirius and Kochab and would like to research the thing that gives me more range. Hit a bug when I selected Hellbore that hung and wouldn't generate a Bug Report, but I did get a screenshot and went back to send you game_191, although clicking Helbore Cannon from the Plasma Cannon page does not cause the hang to occur again.

I ran into the following crash in the middle of a battle at Bacabs after playing for an hour or two. game_183 is from the turn before I got to Bacabs, if that helps, but it didn't crash at that battle again.
