This is an edge case that will have to be ironed out when we introduce states of non-war. Currently, it's very unusual to be in a state where you've captured an enemy planet but there's still an enemy fleet in the system.

i think if an important goal is keeping things fast & smooth... ground troop logistics should be abstracted as much as possible, rather than involving a bunch of clicking to pick up units and interior transportation. MoO3 logistics abstraction is a good example. if a tank (as per design doc) is...

For starters, art assets for 1/2-size medium weapons don't exist. But even if 1/2 size medium weapons did exist, they would do essentially the same amount of damage as a PD weapon currently does. If not, the damage of PD weapons could be increased. I don't see a difference there worth the explosion ...

game_401: I used the auto-retreat button, but my scout instead closed to fight with the pirates and was destroyed. I'm guessing that this may be because the scout was armed.

Well, under the current mechanics, research is something you accumulate, regardless of whether or not you're actually researching something. I think that's both unrealistic (the work potential of idle research personnel doesn't accumulate... if the scientists have no research target, they play vide...

I think that research should be set to null when the current research is complete. However, if the user deliberately clicks past the warning and ends his turn without selecting a new research target, I think it's fine to select one for him. There's no harm to doing so, and the research would be wast...

The research screen still auto-selects the next project, but then the end-turn warning complains that you haven't selected a new project.

I like the new distinction in icons between completed production when there is something else is in the queue (two wrenches) and when there isn't anything else ordered (one wrench) However, I'm not sure I like that clicking the single wrench drops me directly into the production screen without a ch...

Why did you all take away the Auto retreat for the Transports and colony ships. or is retreating bugged now cause usually when I retreat from Pirates they leave before the missles hit and now the missles move first on the second term even though my ship is to retreat.
