If you run the game in windowed mode instead of fullscreen mode (in the Options menu uncheck "Fullscreen Mode"), then utilities like Magnifier should work.

Most negative population morale modifiers caused by a one-time event (including slaving) have a limited duration, after which they expire.

You can put the graphs under the diplomacy screen, they shouldn't bother anybody there too much ? They are there to help you evaluate who to ally with and who to compete with - diplomacy is all about the numbers game, so it's a logical place for the graphs. That said, I'll also agree that peaceful AI/Marauder behaviors are not quite ideal. In particular, powerful AIs should probably gobble up Marauder bases when they get the opportunity, and as you say, *some* evidence of slave taking from neighboring AI empires would be a nice flavor thing. We are debating whether or not to make the graphs a normal UI option during the course of the game. The concern is that it might be too much information while the game is still going on.

What do you think?

"Officer" characters is a feature I'd really like to add, though it would be a fairly big chunk, because I'd like to have them be more integrated into gameplay than just generic stat buffs. Hopefully we'll get a chance to do that at some point.
