I'm bored of the normal faction colours, I know there are alternatives and want to switch. Is there a way to do this. I know it will be a mod to do it somewhere. But how.
I do agree with this. Stellar surge does slow down combat considerably especially when you have several of them and compared to other weapons. I do understand that the weapon has a charge time for the impact.
You can already stop ships firing. You can click on the weapons on the ship and when they are red they will not fire on any target. Please note that PD weapons will only fire at missiles, torpedoes and small craft so they wont fire at any proper ships.
The default Turbolasers may have Rapidfire already and when a default design is setup it takes into account what upgrades are available for the weapons and applies them where it can. So that will probably be the cause.
Have the Tinkers been given the MIRV capability on their torpedoes as an upgrade.
