Re: Suggest - Features and Improvements

Can we have a breakdown of population amount/percentage per race in the diplomacy screen? It wouldn't need its own window, just smack in in the empire relationship breakdown as a new paragraph, and in the information pane when the player clicks on their own empire It would obviously be nice to look ...

Re: AI Afraid of a Human Light Cruiser?

I have attached the save of the turn when there are still two Teros Cruisers in the Deneb system, the third one has already withdrawn. I am still no match for this force, but the Teros don't actually do anything. Even if I send my Light Cruiser away, they withdraw a second Cruiser that turn, and th...

Researchable Artifacts

So I was thinking how it would be best to implement the feature: "Researchable Artifacts" As I do not know if specifics but I do find the Tech buyout via the Herald to be more-or-less unneeded I propose the following: 1. Researchable Artifacts are objects unknown to the mayor races that ca...

Re: Suggest - Features and Improvements

A new research to increase Science station research yield - could be tied to a specific race as starting tech for that faction but be available in the end of the mid-game for everyone else as well. Thinking on Humans (if not DLC race) as they already have quite a disadvantage over other AI empires a...

Re: Lore Speculation: the Arda Seed and the Great War

But the ancient stargate (i.e. the kind they could make back when their tech was higher) doesn't require a stargate at the target system That's true, but it works on the same principle. It opens a portal at the target location. So the two travel methods cannot be separated from one another. But we ...

Re: Report - Current Bugs and Issues

Status report of battle extending outside of its intended space and overlapping with Close and View buttons - see picture

This is not a new issue and it seems to be popping up mostly in case of Marauder battles due to their long designations

Re: Stars in Shadow Development Roadmap

I've been wondering for a while, now: what precisely are Phidi sales commandos? Given that I'm habitually a (very peaceful) Phidi player, this may be relevant to my interests- maybe it will be another tool in my box for when I finally prepare to liberate the enslaved masses under the Marauders in m...

Re: What are the new weapons in the Legacies DLC?

So I've met the Herald. He is offering some boring tech (nothing I can't research myself) in exchange for metal and promise not to go into anomalies (BTW, the list wont update after you buy - allowing to buy the same tech again). I guess there are some (nice but) boring fleets I have to fight insid...

Re: Report - Current Bugs and Issues

In that case shouldn't the marauders be just wiping the planets out? Or as a tinker, are you immune to marauder raids? Because this is the effect the AI tinkers are having happen. I was wondering the same thing I guess it is ok for Marauders to still invade Tinkers so nothing needs to be changed wi...

Re: AI Afraid of a Human Light Cruiser?

There were no starbases or any sort of planetary defenses backing up my Cruiser. Just the defenseless Space Station needed to build it in the first place. Maybe the AI was treating that as if it were as strong as a Starbase? I didn't check whether the AI would invade if I lost my Cruiser. They only...

Re: AI Afraid of a Human Light Cruiser?

Upon arrival, I got a notification of a "Teros Encounter at Deneb". I opted NOT to begin a battle I knew I could not win. With trepidation I hit "Next Turn". If they do not attack upon their arrival, they will not attack unless the balance of force tips further in their directio...

Re: Suggest - Features and Improvements

On the planet display, in the races window in the upper right, it would be nice if ground forces (tanks et al.) would always be the right-most display. Could they be exempted form sorting by population number? Thank you. Great Idea, and I would include Gremak Slave Drivers and Human Marines as well...

Re: Destroyer Dance Defeats Dangerous Defenses

Spin ships with shields to rotate shield segments taking damage I don't think this an exploit at all; the ships have 4 shield facings for a reason and it leads to interesting tactics. We just need to teach the AI to use it.... -Will Agreed with: in order to avoid exploits, the AI needs to be tough ...

Re: Lore Speculation: the Arda Seed and the Great War

at some point it was actually discovered that the warp lane network was not in fact built to allow interstellar travel in "real space", which was just a side effect of it being there, but for some other most likely nefarious purpose, by beings existing purely in hyper space, for whom the ...

Re: Report - Current Bugs and Issues

When deploying a Mobile Base to an otherwise unconscionable planet, the status of the planet shows as if it were colonizable but is not Either tha planet needs to be displayed as non-colonizable as before, or it needs to be colonizable so that it is not misleading to players and it becomes visible w...
