It is very cool, and the lensing effect around the rear spike is really suggestive about the mechanism of its propulsion. Here's hoping you and Sven get more chances to continue working sometime soon!

Here's hoping development has been continuing well! It can be hard to wait in the absence of news sometimes, but I'm always looking forward to seeing further updates to Stars in Shadow. Which remains one of my most-played games.

I propose that Viscids are created as Sterile, as per discussion in the bug report thread. Their current implementation encourages a great deal of artificial, 'gamey' behavior and further doesn't make all that much sense. Viscid currently benefit from Cloning and Longevity technologies. This obviously makes no sense. Have been continuing to check in periodically, am hoping work is continuing well. Haven't been playing SiS much recently, just because I'm waiting for future updates at the moment. Here's hoping that our patience will be rewarded with more news sometime soon. :)

Right. But the 'ocean' worlds in Stars in Shadow, unlike the 'island' worlds, are, I believe, intended to be lifeless. Big sterile crushed unoxygenated water deserts, basically the water-breather equivalent of Mars.
